Ranchi, May 28: In the state working committee meeting of the Jharkhand BJP on Saturday, the party resolved to fight against the state government from road to assembly.
State BJP President Deepak Prakash gave this resolution to the office bearers of the party and said that till the time the Jharkhand government is not thrown out of power, no one will sleep peacefully.
In the meeting of the State Working Committee held in Hazaribagh, discussions were held regarding the mining lease case of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the allegations against his relatives and close friends.
Deepak Prakash said that the corrupt bureaucrats in this government along with those sitting in power have looted the state. He said that all of the BJP workers together will destroy the ‘kingdom of Ravana.’
During the meeting, he also targeted the government for the increasing criminal activities in the state. He said that the law and order situation in the state is very pathetic. According to government figures, 4153 people were murdered during the 27-month tenure of the Hemant government. Along with this, the figure for rape incidents is 3741. There have been 766 Naxalite incidents at this time.
On the other hand, BJP state in-charge Dilip Saikia called for strengthening the organization. Union Minister Arjun Munda discussed the tribal Maharally to be held in Ranchi on June 5. Many leaders including former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, Babulal Marandi, and Neelkanth Singh Munda addressed the meeting of the Working Committee.
Political resolution was also presented in the working committee meeting. MPs Nishikant Dubey and PN Singh discussed in support of the political resolution and it was passed with some amendments.
