Vadodara, Dec 24: At least four people were killed while eleven others suffered injuries in the boiler blast that occurred at a chemical factory in the Vadodara district of Gujarat on Friday.
The incident took place around 10 am at the factory owned by Canton Laboratory in Vadodara’s Makarpura GIDC area.
80 labourers were working in the carbon Laboratory. Search operation is on for the treapped labourers. Vadodara mayor Keyur Rokadiya, police
commissioner Shamsher Singh and other senior officials rushed to the spot.
“We are investigating to find out the exact cause of the blast,” said Karanraj Vaghela, DCP Vadodara Police.
