Bomb explosion reported near Gurudwara in Afghanistan’s Kabul

New Delhi, July 27: An explosion was reportedly heard close to the Gurdwara Karte Parwan entrance in Kabul, Afghanistan today.

“Members of the Sikh and the Hindu communities are reported to be safe,” Puneet Singh Chandhok, president of the Indian World Forum, was quoted as saying by ANI.

Over a month has passed since three explosions tore through Kabul’s Gurdwara Karte Parwan in the Bagh-e Bala neighbourhood in June. Two people, including a member of the Sikh community, were slain in the fatal terror attack on the gurdwara, which the Islamic State has taken credit for.
