BPSC releases new dates of 67th PT, over 6 lakh candidates to appear

Patna, Feb 1: Bihar Public Service Commission has released the tentative date of 67th PT. The Joint Secretary cum Controller of Examinations of the Commission, Amarendra Kumar on Tuesday said that the 67th PT will be organized on April 30, 2022. There have never been so many applications in BPSC’s PT held till now. For the first time, such a large participation of youth is taking place and in this regard big arrangements will also be made.

Notably, six lakh two thousand 221 applicants filled the forms for the examination this year. Due to the increased number of candidates along with several officials being Covid positive, the examination which was to be held on January 23 was postponed and delayed.

BPSC has appealed to applicants to check the official website of the commission from time to time. Initially the exam was to be taken for 555 seats, but was later increased to 726 posts. Candidates will be selected on the posts through Preliminary Examination, Mains and Interview. The duration of the preliminary exam will be of 2 hours, in which total questions will be asked for 150 marks.
