New Delhi, Dec 21: In Punjab’s Amritsar area, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot down a drone that had come in from Pakistan. The drone had entered Indian territory at around 7:20 pm on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning, the troops saw the fallen drone on the Pakistan side, around 20 metres away from the border outpost in Bharopal.
The drone hovered in the sky for a few minutes when counter drone measures were taken, and fell while returning. Search in progress. (2/2)

When anti-drone procedures were implemented, the drone hung in the air for a short period before falling as it made its way back to its base. There is a search going on for any suspicious activity nearby.
At the India-Pakistan border, there have been 220 drone sightings since the year began.
