BSP MP Kunwar Danish Ali tests Covid positive, attended Parliament till Monday

New Delhi, Dec.21: BSP MP Kunwar Danish Ali tested positive for Covid-19 despite being completely vaccinated. He urged everybody who came into contact with him to get tested and isolate themselves as he attended the Parliament until Monday.

He tweeted that he was having mild symptoms and hoped to recover soon.

He tweeted, “Despite being fully vaccinated, today, I tested positive for #COVID19. Yesterday, I attended Parliament also. I request all those who came in my contact to get tested and isolate themselves. I am having mild symptoms and hope to recover soon. @loksabhaspeaker @LokSabhaSectt”

This comes as the country is also reporting occurrences of the newly discovered Omicron Covid strain, and various rules have been strengthened.

So far, 200 Indian patients have been diagnosed with the Omicron variety. According to the Union Health Ministry, 77 of these patients have recovered or relocated.

Maharashtra and Delhi have recorded 54 cases of the Omicron variant each, while Telangana registered 20 cases, Karnataka 19, Rajasthan 18, Kerala 15, Gujarat 14 and Odisha 2 cases.
