New Delhi, March 21: Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 2 pm amid uproar over Rahul Gandhi’s democracy remarks. This is the sixth day in a row when Parliament remained paralysed due to protests.

Opposition MPs protest on the first floor of the Parliament and demand a JPC inquiry into the Adani Group issue.

“I invite the floor leaders of all parties to my chamber at 11.30 am today. The House is adjourned to meet at 2 pm today,” said Jagdeep Dhankhar, Rajya Sabha Chairman.

Earlier in the day, Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm after Opposition MPs raised slogans in the house demanding a JPC inquiry into the Adani Group issue. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla calls a meeting of leaders of all parties in his chamber at 1 pm.
