New Delhi, March 29: Delhi court granted bail to Niraj Bishnoi, the culprit in the ‘Bulli Bai’ app case, and Omkareshwar Thakur, the founder of the ‘Sulli Deals’ app on humanitarian grounds.
The court reasoned that the defendants are first-time offenders, and that keeping them in prison would be damaging to their general health. The accused were subjected to stringent requirements by the court, including not threatening witnesses or tampering with evidence.
The accused individual must not attempt to contact, persuade, or induce any victim, among other things. According to the order, the accused person would not tamper with evidence, submit his contact information to the Investigation Officer, keep his phone turned on, and provide his location.
The accused would not leave the country, would appear in court on all scheduled dates, and would not commit a comparable crime while on bail, according to the decision.
