Mathura, Sep 16: The police reported on Saturday that four persons were killed when a car slammed into a stationary truck on the Delhi-Agra National Highway in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
The car was travelling from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh to the Kokilavan Dham Shani Mandir close to Mathura, according to the police.
“Four people died in a road accident on the Delhi-Agra National Highway as a car rammed into a stationary truck at the edge of the road. The car passengers were travelling from Aligarh to Kokilavan Dham Shani Mandir,” said Martand Prakash Singh, Superintendent of Police, Mathura (Uttar Pradesh).
The truck driver, Ajit, and the three car passengers, Nishidh, Alok and Aakash, all died instantly, according to the SP.
The truck driver was from Chhapra, Bihar, whereas the car’s passengers were Aligarh locals.
