Two terrorists killed in J-K’s Baramulla encounter

Baramulla, Sep 16: Another terrorist was reportedly killed on Saturday in a confrontation with security forces in Uri town in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The Kashmir Zone Police posted on X formerly known as Twitter, “1 more terrorist killed (Total 02). Search operation in progress. Further details shall follow”.

The altercation started early on Saturday in Uri’s Hathlanga forward area.

Police had earlier reported that one terrorist had been killed in the confrontation and that the search was ongoing.

Meanwhile, on the fourth day in a row, operations against terrorists “holed up” in the Gadole forest area in the Kokernag area of the Anantnag district were also resumed by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
