Ranchi, Jan.7:  Probing agency CBI which is investigating Judge Uttam Anand’s death by the knock of auto rickshaw at Dhanbad, has told the Jharkhand High Court that it is expected that it will soon come out with new facts in the matter.

The CBI said that it has talked to more than 200 persons to reach at the bottom of the case.

The development took place after the high court expressed its concern over the delay in the probe saying it will  give the accused an opportunity to save himself.

The court has deferred the hearing in the matter till January 14.

On July 28, 2021, Judge Uttam Anand knocked to death as he was hit by an auto while he was on a morning walk. The CBI had filed a charge sheet in this case on October 20. The charge sheet included sections 302, 201 and 34 of the IPC.
