New Delhi, Feb 15: Students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will take their final exams for classes 10 and 12 today. Class 10 students will take the Painting, Gurung, Rai, Tamang, and Sherpa tests on the first day of testing, while Class 12 students will take the Entrepreneurship subject.

This year, more than 38 lakh students will give board exams. These comprise 16,96,770 Class 12 students and 21,86,940 Class 10 students. In order to hold these tests, CBSE has chosen 7,250 testing locations throughout the nation and in 26 other nations.

Final exams for classes 10 and 12 will end on March 21 and continue through April 5, respectively. Class 10 final examinations for 76 subjects will be administered by the CBSE, and class 12 final exams for 115 subjects.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused years of difficulties, thus for the first time ever, the CBSE will hold board exams as usual.
