CBSE invites private students to register for 10th and 12th exams from Sept 17

Ranchi, Sept 16: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited private students who wish to appear in the 10th and 12th board examination 2023 conducted by CBSE, to fill up applications for registration for the same from September 17.

A notification in this regard has already been sent by the CBSE to all the zonal coordinators in the region. As per the notification, several categories have been set up for students to choose from for their examinations. These include students who were declared ‘essential repeat’ in the 2022 exams or those who have been declared ‘fail/essential repeat’ in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Other categories include students that have been placed in the ‘compartment’ in the 2022 exam if not declared to pass in the first chance or who have been placed in the ‘compartment’ in the first chance compartment.

Passed out students of 2022, who want to improve their grades or students of 2021-2022 who wish to appear in an additional subject may also register for the exam to be conducted in 2023. Apart from this, female students or candidates with special needs who are bonafide residents of the National Capital Territory of Delhi will also be allowed to register for the examination.

While registering, students should keep in mind that they can choose only those subjects which are decided by the board. Candidates will also have to pay the fee as decided by the board to fill out the form for the exam. For details like subject-wise list, registration fee, etc., candidates can refer to the notice issued by CBSE. Candidates may further visit the CBSE website for more details.

Students of classes 10th and 12th can apply online by visiting the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in. They can go to the link ‘Notice Regarding Submission of Exam Forms by Private Student’ available on the home page of the CBSE website and read all available information carefully and register. Students should also keep in mind that while filling out the form, they should fill in correct and clear information so that they do not face any kind of problems in future.

This examination will be conducted by CBSE in February/March/April 2023.
