Change in terminal of trains travelling via Tatanagar

Jamshedpur, Oct 25: Shalimar instead of Howrah will be the originating station for several trains passing through Tatanagar soon.

In an attempt to take off the load from Howrah, South Eastern Railway has decided to shift terminals of several trains to Shalimar.

The office of the Chief Passenger Transportation Manager (CPTM) released a list of trains, whose terminals will be shifted soon.

 

The Howrah-LTT Special which goes via Tatanagar will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah with effect from November 4.  In the return direction, the LTT-Howrah Special leaving LTT with effect from November 2 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The Howrah-Porbandar Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah with effect from January 15.  In the return direction, the Porbandar-Howrah Special leaving Porbandar with effect from  January 13 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The  Howrah-Okha Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah with effect from January 18.  In the return direction, the Okha-Howrah Special leaving Okha with effect from January 16 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The  Howrah-Vasco Da Gama Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah  from January 1.

 

In the return direction, the Vasco Da Gama-Howrah Special leaving Vasco Da Gama from January 4 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The Howrah-Hyderabad Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah from  January 2.

In the return direction, the Hyderabad-Howrah Special leaving Hyderabad from January 4 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The Howrah-Chennai Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah from January 14. In the return direction, the Chennai-Howrah Special leaving Chennai with effect from January 15 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The Howrah-Puri Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah with effect from January 14. In the return direction, the Puri-Howrah Special leaving Puri with effect from January 15 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

The Howrah-Puri Special will originate from Shalimar instead of Howrah with effect from January 15.

 

In the opposite direction, the Puri-Howrah Special leaving Puri with effect from January 14 will terminate at Shalimar instead of Howrah.

 

There will be no change in arrival and departure timings at Shalimar at other enroute stations after change of terminal.
