Hazaribag, Nov.3: Tandwa police in Chatra district foiled the plan of three criminals of committing some crime in the area by arresting them. Police have recovered a country-made pistol, one live bullet and two mobiles from them.
According to Tandwa police station officer-in-charge Vijay Kumar Singh, they got a tip-off about three criminals roaming in the area to commit some crime. A team was formed and sent for verification of the information that came to them. After finding it true, the team acted fast and nabbed a trio of criminals on Wednesday evening.
The three arrested were identified as Bhagirath Kumar Prajapati, Suraj Kumar Yadav a.k.a Bajrangi Yadav a.k.a Hujur Don and Bobby Kumar Mahto.
Police officials said an FIR numbered 262/22 was lodged against the trio under the arms act and were sent to jail. “We are also trying to get the criminal backgrounds of the trio arrested criminals,” added a police officer.
During interrogation, the trio admitted to committing some crime in the Tandwa area.
Other than Singh, the team which arrested the trio of criminals comprised ASI Abhinav Anand, Amar Kumar Mahto, and Bholanath Das beside jawans namely Roshan Kumar Das, Yogendra Kumar Paswan and Vidyadhar Narayan Giri.
