Hazaribag, July 21: A tanker (UP 17 AT 7493) filled with chemicals overturned near Kariyatpur Chowk in Barhi on Friday. Due to the overturning of the tanker, there was leakage in the tank. Due to this leakage, chemical started flowing on Dulmaha via GT Road.
Eyewitnesses said the tanker was coming from Dhanbad, which overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle. However, there is no report of any casualty. The road became slippery due to the chemical emanating from the overturned tanker. Four bike riders also slipped due to the chemical on the road. As soon as the Barhi police received the information they reached the spot and started the work to remove the tanker from there.
