New Delhi, June 28: Prior to the state assembly elections later this year, Chhattisgarh Congress leaders met with senior party figures at the AICC office in Delhi.

Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal and Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, were present at the meeting.

‘Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh’, which translates to ‘Will build new Chhattisgarh,’ was the slogan of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. He stated that this wasn’t simply a slogan for Congress but also a directive for the development and social justice of Chhattisgarh.

Taking to Twitter Mallikarjun Kharge said, “This is not just a slogan for us, it is a goal for Chhattisgarh’s progress and social justice. His unwavering faith in the people of Chhattisgarh and the Congress party will continue to propel the continuous stream of development forward. We will work together and keep bringing change in the lives of the people of Chhattisgarh.”
