Ranchi, Nov 18: Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his gratitude to his party workers for expressing their solidarity with him when he was being questioned at the office of Enforcement Directorate on Thursday.
He addressed them at the gate of his official residence on Kanke Road, where his workers kept on waiting till he did not return to his residence last night after facing ED queries in an illegal mining case.
Soren shared what ED asked him in eight hours and what reply he gave. He claimed to have asked ED why the investigating agency is not asking the former government when the scam which is under investigation has taken place not only during his tenure but also in the tenure of the previous government. He claimed to have assured full cooperation to ED if the investigation agencies expresses its commitment to do fair probe without any bias.
Soren while addressing the party workers said that the BJP has made the condition of the state and the youth from bad to worse and when his government is giving children of tribal and moolvasi opportunity to become BDO and CO, it is being disturbed. Hemant said that Dishom Guru Shibu Soren was also harassed but today there is on stain on him.
The chief minister asked party workers to remain prepared to face any situation and said that people in the state have recognized the conspiracy of BJP to provoke the tribal for self interest and are now united. Soren said that BJP’s plan to terrorise tribal by implicating them in court cases have failed and now time has come to befool BJP instead of being befooled by them.
Chief minister Soren asked party workers to remain united and be aware of businessmen as they can take the jobs of people anytime as being this time. He asked them to be self dependent for a longer fight. He said that it is a matter of concern that despite being mineral power and natural resources, people of Jharkhand are poor while other states are getting benefitted. He said if the state government will continue working in the same manner within 10 years it will challenge Gujarat in the field of development.
Earlier a big number of JMM workers from different parts of the state equipped with drums assembled outside the official residence of chief minister Hemant Soren on Kanke Road. Road connecting Morabadi ground with the CM’s residence was crowded as the workers were reaching in groups shouting slogans.
There were several workers who were holding placards in their hands carrying messages like “Kendra Ki Bhajpa Sarkar Hosh Mein Aao”, “Jor Jurm Ki Takkar Mein Sangharsh Hamara Nara Hai” , “Narendra Modi Murdabad”. Amit Shah Murdabad” and others.
Due their presence on the road vehicular movement of Kanke Road and arterial roads remained disrupted and traffic personnel had a tough time managing the traffic and suggesting people to take alternative routes.
