Ranchi: The people of the capital should donate their 5 feet of land to the government. This appeal has been made by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He said that the streets of the capital are tight. Because of this, let alone ambulances and fire brigade vehicles, even small cars cannot enter. Not only in poor settlements, this situation is also in those places where elite people reside. If development is to be brought to the ground, people should voluntarily donate 5 feet of land outside their homes to the government. The Chief Minister said this at the Jaipal Singh Stadium on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of 45 schemes worth 84 crores of the Urban Development Department. He said that these schemes of 84 crores being received by the capital can be equal to 1000 crores, provided the amount is used properly.

Strict action will be taken if the quality deteriorates

The CM also warned the department. He said that the Urban Development Department should ensure that there is no shortcoming in the quality of the schemes. If a complaint is received, strict action will be taken against the guilty. He said that not much can be changed in the capital just by the programs of the government.

Unless people are aware of the cleanliness and beautification of their streets and wards, the chaos will continue. The CM said that people migrate to the capital not only from villages but also from other states. This will go on continuously. Therefore, no development plan should be made for a short time, so that the coming generation gets its benefit.

A little rain creates chaos

Hemant said that bridges, culverts, roads are being built in the capital. We are enclosing the city in a concrete jungle, but development should not take place by harming the environment under any circumstances. If it rains a little, then there is chaos in the whole city. We ignore many things, which later comes in the eyes of law and court and new problems arise. We create the problem ourselves, so we have to find its solution too.

The capital got the gift of these schemes :
