Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will chair a high-level review meeting on May 27 focusing on the state’s law and order situation. The agenda includes 16 crucial issues ranging from illegal infiltration and serious criminal incidents to mob lynching and cybercrime.
The meeting will be held at Project Bhawan in Ranchi. Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and the Director General of Police (DGP) will be present in person, while Zonal IGs, Range DIGs, Deputy Commissioners (DCs), and Superintendents of Police (SPs) from all districts will join via video conferencing.
DGP to Hold Pre-Review on May 26
A day before the CM’s meeting, DGP Ajay Kumar Singh will conduct his own review with all district SPs on the same 16-point agenda to ensure all reports are updated and no discrepancies occur during the CM’s briefing. SPs have been instructed to submit their reports to CID and Special Branch by May 25.
