Aligarh, Oct 1: Public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have increased the cost of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 209, which is a significant setback for LPG users.

According to the revised pricing list, it will now cost Rs 1731.50 in Delhi, up from Rs 1522.50 last month. Similar price increases were made for commercial LPG in Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata which has now surged to Rs. 1839.50, Rs. 1684.00, and Rs. 1898.00, respectively.

Shopkeepers are calling on the government to clamp down on inflation.

The decision to raise the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs 209 has caused great concern among business owners of tea, samosa, and kachori businesses.

They assert that commercial cylinder costs have already climbed dramatically and that inflation is steadily rising.
