Ranchi, Nov.30: Senior Congress party leaders came to the rescue of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Chairman Amitabh Choudhary, who is in the line of fire of civil service aspirants and main opposition party of the state, BJP, for alleged irregularities in conduction 7th to 10th JPSC preliminary tests.

This was reflected after the party released a press statement supporting Choudhary’s stand to organise JPSC’s main examination and targeting BJP leaders for their attempt to question the credibility of the recruitment agency. The release also warns BJP leaders against their attempt to disrupt the JPSC examination saying youths will not forgive them in case the recruitment examinations get affected.

“Reason behind negative comments of BJP state president and Rajya Sabha member Deepak Prakash against JPSC Chairman Amitabh Choudhary is an attempt to settle the personal score as in JSCA annual general meeting held on August 20, 2017, Deepak Prakash had been shown the door, “senior Congress leader Alok Dubey opined through the statement.

“Prakash is misleading civil service aspirants of the state and attempting to disrupt the JPSC examination,” Dubey observed.

Dubey said while defending Choudhary’s stand alleged that it was the BJP who had been disrupting the competitive examination causing lakhs of vacancies in the state, not the Hemant Soren government who is committed to giving jobs by organising examinations.

“So far at least 20 JPSC examinations should have been completed but this could not happen. Now when the 7th to 10th JPSC examination was organised, the BJP attempted to disrupt it,” Dubey said.

Defending Choudhary Dubey also pointed out irregularities in recruitment examinations in the BJP- ruled state UP and the Centre.

“Incident of paper leak took place on November 28 in UP. The Union government and UP failed to conduct nine competitive examinations,” Dubey said.

Taking a dig at BJP legislature party chief Babulal Marandi, Dubey said: “JPSC PT examination held on September 19 and on November 22 Babulal Marandi dreamt that the paper got leaked.”

Another party leader Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo echoed Dubey saying that the action of BJP leaders is politically motivated and not in the interest of youths struggling for jobs. The party has also demanded the arrest of the BJP leaders named in the FIR registered for creating law and order problems in the Jharkhand capital by misleading students.
