Ramgarh, Nov, 30: The election process for the post of President (Pradhan) of Gurdwara Shri Gurusingh Sabha Ramgarh for the session 2021-24 concluded today.
Baljit Singh Bedi, Raminder Singh Gandhi and Paramdeep Singh Kalra were in the fray for the post of President in this election.
After the ballot papers were counted, Baljit Singh Bedi got 45 votes, Raminder Singh Gandhi 108 and winner Paramdeep Singh Kalra secured the position with 234.
Baba Ji Gurjit Singh of Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha started the election process by performing Guru Maryada Ardas in the morning. 387 voters cast their votes among 415 voters of Guru Singh Sabha head.
Voting concluded under the supervision of Election Steering Committee in-charge Narendra Singh Chaman, members Inderpal Singh Chhabra, Gurjit Singh Saluja, Harmendra Singh Jolly, and Narendra Singh Gujral.
“Betterment of Shri Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha and other works for the society are our priority. Ramgarh Gurudwara prabandhak committee has a special status in the entire Jharkhand. We will maintain the tradition,” said Kalra, the new Pradhan after winning.
