Ranchi, March 9: Poraiyahat legislator Pradeep Yadav today demanded action against the assembly secretariat staff alleging them of being manipulative while taking questions for discussion in the House.

Yadav said that the secretariat listed the short notice questions in the list of starred questions to prevent discussion on important matters of the state importance and thus defend corrupt officials.

Presenting an example, Yadav said he had given a question related to a scam in Ramgarh to be taken as a short notice question but the same has not been taken today.

Yadav demanded a thorough probe into the matter by constituting a committee of the assembly members.

As Yadav leveled allegations and raised demand for a probe by assembly committee members, speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto assured him of proper probe at his level and then constitution of the committee if required.
