New Delhi, Dec 30: Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batsman for India, was injured on Friday while travelling from Delhi to Uttarakhand after his car hit a divider and caught fire.
Due to the accident, Pant suffers injuries to his head, knee, and shin. He has been transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun since his leg may have fractured. People from all walks of life went to Twitter to wish the batsman a swift recovery.
Jay Shah informed on Twitter that Pant is presently stable and getting scans. He also disclosed that he spoke with the player’s family and the medical professional who is attending to him.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Rishabh Pant as he fights his way back to recovery. I have spoken to his family and the doctors treating him. Rishabh is stable and undergoing scans. We are closely monitoring his progress and will provide him with all the necessary support,” he tweeted.

Rishabh Pant is receiving treatment at Max Hospital for a minor injury to his waist, according to earlier statements made by Dr. Ashish Yagnik of the facility. Additionally, he had stated that the player was safe and conscious.

“Rishabh Pant met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has now been shifted to a hospital in Dehradun after receiving primary treatment in a hospital in Roorkee,” Pant’s IPL franchise Delhi Capitals wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had said that the government will bear the entire expense of Pant’s treatment.
