Ranchi, Feb. 12: In the second incident of the IED blast within 32 hours in the Bulbul forest area of Lohardaga under Peshrar police station area, a CRPF jawan sustained injuries.
The jawan was on a search operation following an IED blast on Friday morning in which two CoBRA Jawans had sustained injuries.
Till the filing of the report, the injured could not reach the hospital though sources at Medica hospital said all preparations have been done for the treatment of the jawan.
“We are prepared. The chopper which was expected to land at Vikas Vidyalaya helipad will now land at Birsa Munda Airport and we are waiting for him,” a Medica official said.
Sources close to the police said input regarding the presence of Ravindra Ganjhu, regional commander of Maoists carrying a reward of Rs 15 lakh on his head, is coming to us and this search operation has been intensified and apparently Maoist guerillas, in order to save him, is carrying out a blast to keep the security personnel at bay.
