Jamshedpur, March 20: Students and teachers had an opportunity to watch patriotic film ‘Shershah’ screened at a high school in naxal-hit West Singhbhum district on Monday.

The film was screened at the Barkela Utkramit Uccha Vidyalay in the Chaibasa mufassil thana area of the district which is presently reeling under the fear of naxal attacks.

The film was shown by CRPF’s 174 battalion to create a sense of patriotism among the school children.

Apart from the school children, including girl students, a large number of villagers of Barkela and adjoining villages also participated in the programme which was organised by the assistant commandant Ajit Kumar of the battalion.

After the film show was over, the assistant commandant addressed the gathering of the students and villagers that our country is the most cherished possession and serving the nation should always be our motto.

Battalion’s commandant Sanjay Kumar Singh had planned the screening of this patriotic film while reiterating that the CRPF is always ready for the villagers at distress.
