CWG 2022: Boxer Nitu Ghanghas enters Semifinals

New Delhi, Aug 3: Nitu Ghanghas, Indian boxer, advanced to the semifinals of the women’s 48kg division on Wednesday to guarantee herself a medal at the Commonwealth Games.

The third and final round of the quarterfinal match saw Nicole Clyde of Northern Ireland forfeit, and the 21-year-old Nitu, a two-time youth gold medalist, was proclaimed the winner by ABD.

Later on in the day, quarterfinal bouts featuring four Indian boxers, namely Lovlina Borgohain, Nikhat Zareen, Ashish Kumar, and Mohammad Hussamuddin, would take place.
