Daltonganj, Jan 3: Nilamber Pitamber University (NPU) has announced the date sheet for the university examination of the 2021 batch of medical students of the Medinirai medical college at Pokhraha.
Sources said the university put up the date sheet of the examination like form filling from December 22 to 28 and the six-paper examination to start from January 6, on the official website, which neither the medical college nor the medical students could see. As a result, no form filling for the examination by the students was done between December 22 and 28.
Sources said the university got alarmed not to find any examination form filled for the January 6 written examination and anxious queries made by the university led to the reveal that neither the medical college management nor the medical students had seen the date sheet for the examination posted on the official website for the university.
Before the two could fling charges for lack of due communication, the university, in the larger interest of the medical students announced a new date sheet asking the medical students of the 2021 batch to fill out their examination forms by January 7.
The National Medical Commission has set a schedule for the 2021 batch of medical students to have their first-year examination results out latest by February 28. The Nilamber Pitamber university is all out to meet this deadline for the 2021 batch of medical students to declare results by 28 February.
One of the faculty members of the Medinirai medical college at Pokhraha in Daltonganj Dr Atul Prakash said, “The university has asked for offline examination form filling. We will be asking our medical students to abide by going offline form filling.”
On being asked if the 2021 batch medicos are in the hostel or back home celebrating the new year, Dr Atul Prakash said, “Communications have gone to them to return to the college fast and fill the examination form offline positively so that January 7 deadline is met with.”
There will be an examination of three subjects namely Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry, each having two papers. There are 100 students in the 2021 batch.
