DAV Barkakana students, teachers review books in literary conclave

Ramgarh, Aug 1: A literary seminar was organized at DAV Barkakana on Monday in which three books were reviewed.

The first book was ‘Let Them Fly’ by Nisha Peshin, Dean of DAV Public Schools & Academics (CAE) and DAV United Foundation. It presents her personal experiences with her children through storytelling.

Two more books were reviewed by children in this conclave in which there was ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and ‘The Invisible Man.’

Divya and Sagun of Class VIII and Vasi Haider of Class VIII presented their review on ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and Aditi and Srishti of Class IX presented a review on ‘The Invisible Man.’

Apart from this, Manvi Marwah of class XI, Tanya Mahato of class X and Sachin Kant Jha of class XII presented their compositions.

In this review, a teacher Sudeshna Bandopadhyay presented the review of ‘Let Them Fly’ in a very interesting manner. Another teacher Vidyadhar Choudhary presented his views on the need of reading literature very effectively. The stage was conducted by Saroj Kumar Choudhary.

Urmila Singh, Principal cum Regional Officer, DAV Public Schools Jharkhand Zone D, on the occasion, praised the event and said that it is very important to read literature in today’s time and reading literature gives information about every subject. She invited the parents present to visit the school library with the children and enhance their knowledge.
