Kabul, April 19: The death toll from blasts in western Kabul has surpassed 20, according to the sources. A local source told Sputnik earlier in the day that an explosion occurred at the Abdul Rahim Shahid High School in the capital’s Dasht-e-Barchi area, killing six people and injuring scores more, according to ANI.

According to Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran and the city’s Emergency Hospital, the explosions injured several children and more casualties were expected.

Notably, in Kabul’s Dasht-e-Barchi area, explosions occurred on Tuesday near Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School and inside an education centre where exams were being held.
