New Delhi, March 5: The Delhi government will release its annual budget year 2023–24 from March 17.

Manish Sisodia, a top AAP politician who was recently detained by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, won’t be present when the Delhi Assembly’s Budget session convenes on March 23.

The Budget session of the Delhi Assembly will convene on March 17. Minister Kailash Gahlot will present the budget of the Delhi government in the Assembly.

Kailash Gehlot, an AAP minister who took over the newly assigned departments on Thursday after Sisodia and another AAP minister, Satyendra Jain, resigned from their positions, will this time submit the government’s budget.

The duty of all other departments that are not officially assigned to any minister has lately been transferred to the minister, along with the departments of Finance, Planning, Public Works (PWD), Power, Housing, Urban Development, Irrigation and Flood Control, and Water.
