New Delhi, October12: Pakistani terrorist Mohd Asraf who was arrested from Laxmi Nagar, Delhi has been remanded to 14 day police custody by the Patiala House Court on Tuesday. The Special Cell of Delhi Police presented the terrorist in the Chamber of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma.
Addressing the media, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha said today that, “A Pakistani national Mohd Asraf was arrested by Delhi Police. He has been in India for more than a decade using Indian identity. Initial probe revealed his involvement as sleeper cell, orchestrating subversive activities”.
Notably, Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday arrested a Pakistani terrorist from the Laxmi Nagar area in the national capital.
One AK-47 rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds, one hand grenade, two sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds have been seized from his possession. The police have also found a fake ID from him, in which the address of Shastri Nagar in Delhi is written. In this ID, his name is written Ali Ahmed.
