New Delhi, March 10: In the Delhi Excise Policy Case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) requested on Friday that Manish Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister, be held without bail for ten days.
In the case, the agency had filed Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court and asked for a warrant for Sisodia’s production. In response, the court stated that it will take into account the ED’s request for custody of Manish Sisodia in the case in order to question him at 2 PM today.

The agency had detained Sisodia on Thursday on suspicion of money laundering in relation to alleged anomalies in the now-cancelled Delhi Excise Policy.
Sisodia was already detained in Tihar jail when a CBI court on March 6 sentenced him to 14 days of judicial detention. The developments happened after he was accused of engaging in corruption during the creation and implementation of the excise policy for 2021–2022.
