New Delhi, Feb 4: The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting decided on Friday to reopen schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and gyms in Delhi.
The duration of night curfew has been reduced by an hour; it’s now from 11 pm to 5 am. Earlier, night curfew started from 10 pm.
Schools can reopen in stages – classes 9 to 12 can start on February 7 – and teachers who haven’t been vaccinated aren’t allowed to teach, according to reports.
According to sources, offices may operate with 100% attendance, and those driving cars alone do not need to wear masks.

The national capital’s decision to relax restrictions and reopen schools and universities comes a day after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that COVID-19 instances and positivity rates, or the number of persons infected per 100 tests, have begun to decline.
