Deoghar, April 5: In view of the orders of Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, the contact numbers of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department’s Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer have been issued by the administration.

This has been done so that problems related to drinking water supply in view of the rising mercury levels can be diagnosed quickly.

Apart from that, a control room has been established for the duration of the summer to monitor the not-working tube wells and the operational pipe water supply in the urban and rural parts of 10 blocks in the Deoghar district due to delayed maintenance work. This control room will be in place for the whole summer with immediate effect.

One can register complaints on the mobile number +91-8603803990 and +91-9709278496 of the divisional control room during the entire summer season from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on every working day.

Along with this, the numbers of Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer have been issued.

Deoghar- +91-7992330456

Devipur- +91-9304548201

Mohanpur- +91-7004116299

Sarawan- +91-8603803990

Sonarathari- +91-8709504733

On the other hand, DDC Dr Tara Kumar Chand has said, “For water-related issues this summer, the number for each block is active and anyone can communicate for water-related issues. I personally request that if there is any issue or complaints not being resolved, you can directly message me in this group which will be appropriately responded to on a real-time basis.”
