Deoghar DC holds online problem hearing session

Deoghar, Sept 5: Deoghar DC Manju Nath Bhajantari held an online Talk to DC programme, a problem hearing session on Monday.

During the programme all the block development officers of ten blocks and circle officers joined the meeting and general people joined through the 160 CSC points. Several complaints were resolved on the spot.

Delayed disbursal of pension was complained by many. Responding to complaints, the DC instructed the officers concerned to take the required departmental procedures on priority basis.

He also gave the deadline of September 15 to cover a large number of beneficiaries for Sarve Pension Yojna. He clarified that if a single case remained unaddressed legal action would be taken against BDO and Panchayat Sevak.

District transport officer has been instructed to report the latest status of the National Family Benefit program. There were many complaints related to the electricity department. Many consumers complained that they got dual electricity bills and the same bill has been addressed in different names. The DC instructed the officers to avoid such kind of practices and ensure that it is not repeated.

He directed the DDC to physically verify the irregularities reported in PMAY in Tavaghat panchayat of Deoghar block. During the program the DC has strictly instructed the concerned officer to make coordination with the bankers to ensure KCC and other benefits reach the farmers.
