Deoghar: Minor’s body with injury marks found from pond in Jasidih

Deoghar, Aug 11: The body of a minor boy has been found near a pond located in Ratanpur locality under Jasidih police station on Thursday early morning. Injury marks have been found on his body.

The dead body has been identified as Suraj Kumar Singh who was the only son of Chandan Singh, a resident of Ratanpur. He was a student of class 9 in SDM public school in Jasidih.

On getting the information, the local police rushed to the spot and started an inquiry.

Suraj’s father said that his son had gone to meet his friends yesterday but didn’t return. He went on looking for him at Jasidih Junction, market, and auto stands but he couldn’t find Suraj. He tried calling Suraj on his phone but it was switched off.

Meanwhile, as per sources, Suraj’s friends are being interrogated by the police.
