Deoghar: Miscreants snatch man’s bag containing Rs two lakh

Deoghar, July 28: Two criminals snatched a bag containing Rs. two lakh cash from a middle-aged man near Shahid Ashram road More while he was coming back from State Bank of India located at Gate of Bazaar Samiti campus.

The victim has been identified as Dinesh Mishra, a resident of Shiv Nagar of Shahid Ashram Road under Kunda Police Station.

According to the victim, after withdrawing cash from the bank he was going home on a toto. As he reached Ashram Road, two criminals suddenly came and one of them snatched the bag from him and ran away towards Naulakha Mandir.

The victim fell off the toto as the criminal snatched his bag resulting in a minor injury to his finger. 

A team of local police reached the spot soon after they got the information. They went through the CCTV footage of the bank to identify the criminals. They are now searching for the accused.
