Deoghar, Aug 12: The Deoghar police have solved the murder case of a minor, whose body was found near a pond in Jasidih on August 11, in just 24 hours.
Deoghar SP Subash Chandra Jatt said that Suraj was killed by his close friends Rahul and Ashish for a trivial issue.
According to the SP, there was a money dispute between Rahul’s brother and the deceased boy. Suraj had borrowed Rs 400 from Rahul’s brother and instead of giving the money back, he abused Rahul’s brother.
So, to take revenge on Suraj, Rahul conspired to kill Suraj and made a plan with Ashish.
On Wednesday (August 10) evening, Rahul called Suraj. When Suraj arrived, all of them indulged in hot talk. Suraj was stabbed several times soon after the quarrel.
The father of the deceased had suspected the involvement of his friends in the matter. On the basis of the statement given by the father, police began to search Rahul.
Rahul Kumar was arrested from his native place of Tilona under the Katoria police station of the neighbouring Banka district of Bihar.
Rahul confessed his guilt and reeled off the story. On the information given about the involvement of Ashish, police arrested him from his house located in Khadraha Nawadi under Jasidih police station.
Both have confessed their involvement in the murder of Suraj. The police have recovered the mobile and SIM card of Suraj from them.
