Deoghar youth dies in road accident in Dhanbad

Dhanbad, May 9: A Deoghar youth, identified as  Vishwajit Tudu died in a road accident on Dhanbad- Bokaro main road near  Bhurunga Basti under Mahuda police station, around 21 km away from the district headquarters, today in the morning.

Mahuda police station officer-in-charge Yogesh Kumar Mahto told media persons that the accident occurred around 11.30 am. The victim youth was coming from Bokaro district towards Dhanbad on a bike. He lost control of his bike and his vehicle skidded on the divider.

Eyewitnesses said the youth was coming at a high speed. All of a sudden his bike climbed on the divider and his body collided with a pole. Vishwajit Tudu succumbed to his injury on the spot. Local people tried to get him admitted to a nearby hospital but found him dead.

The Mahuda police team also reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem at Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH).  Officer-in-charge Yogesh Kumar Mahto said that the youth was identified from an Aadhar card found in his pocket.

“Vishwajit was the son of Shyam Sunder Tudu, resident of  Tulsidabar village under Chitra police station of Deoghar district. The officer in charge of Chitra police station has been informed about the incident,” said the police officer.
