Deoghar, Sept 21: Two participants, Sanjay and Karan, have been selected from Deoghar district to represent Jharkhand in the Yogasan in the upcoming mega sports event ‘National Games’ to be held in Goa this year in Oct-Nov.

The district sports authority has issued an official confirmation letter for the media regarding their selection. DSA Secretary Ashish Jha has expressed his joy over their selection. He said in spite of the unavailability of basic infrastructure the duo players have been camping in Ranchi for better performance.

According to him, six boy and four girl participants have been selected for the National Games from the state altogether. The duo had already participated in a national event held in Rajasthan where they got success in the top 15.
