New Delhi, Oct 21: SpiceJet’s 50% ceiling restrictions have been lifted as of Friday by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). According to the regulator, the airline can run at full capacity for the winter schedule of October 30-March 25.
Due to a number of mishaps involving SpiceJet’s flights, the DGCA had on July 27 ordered SpiceJet to operate no more than 50% of its flights that were allowed in the summer schedule for a period of eight weeks.
