Jamshedpur, Oct 21: XLRI signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Trident Group for academic collaboration to promote excellence in common areas of interest, imparting knowledge and skills that are required for XLRI students in their corporate journey.
Fr. S George, director of XLRI and Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, founder and chairman Emeritus, Trident Group signed the MoU.
As a part of the MoU, Trident Group will educate and enlighten XLRI’s PGDM (GMP) students about different functions in the organization, multiple career paths and a gradual progression curve.
This would happen via campus engagement for the entire batch. Campus engagement programs, leadership talks, and student interaction sessions will also be conducted.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr. S George, S.J., director of XLRI said, “With a vision to nurture responsive ethical future business leaders, XLRI accepts collaborations from corporates keeping in mind the industry requirements and changing business landscape. Foreseeing these situations, XLRI has joined hands with The Trident Group. When budding business leaders interact with successful entrepreneurs, they get to know about their struggles and taking notes of their journey also prepares them for the struggle that they may face on the path to success.”
Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, founder and chairman Emeritus, Trident Group said how the business landscape is evolving with time and technology.
He shared his entrepreneurial journey and talked about the challenges and difficulties he faced and how he managed to overcome them. “Entrepreneurship is all about how you survive when you don’t have any options. It’s all about the mindset to tackle the problems you face in your journey”, he added.
XLRI as an institution aims to nurture global leaders for the greater good and we strongly believe that this collaboration will help budding executives and managers of today hone their skills to lead their organizations in the future.
