Earlier. on September 20, the court while hearing the anticipatory bail application had directed to produce a case diary.

Hard coke industrialist Barun Kumar Singh of Bermo (Bokaro) had on February 16, 2022, filed an FIR in Rajganj police station of Dhanbad against Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahto and his 20 goons for demanding extortion of Rs 10 lakh, threatening and bulldozing boundary wall of his factory in Maheshpur village (under Rajganj police station). The industrialist refused to pay the extortion. At night, the goons again reached the spot with a JCB machine and demolished the boundary wall of the factory. In the CCTV footage, it was found that the same people, who had come for demanding extortion for Dhulu Mahto, were demolishing the boundary wall at night.

On the complaint of Barun Kumar Singh, Rajganj police station officer-in-charge Santosh Kumar inspected the spot and lodged an FIR against Dhulu Mahto and other unknown persons

Notably, Dhulu Mahto is facing at least 43 cases in which some of which he has got bail and absolved from charges.
