Dhanbad, July 8: A goods train bound for Fusro derailed at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Gomoh railway station of Dhanbad Rail Division, on Saturday morning at around 7.30 am.

A railway official said the wagon goods train, from the engine side, derailed on the loop line of platform no. 1 which hampered the movement of goods trains on the down line. However, the track was cleared after two and a half hours (Loop Line at a railway station is a line that divides from the mainline and is attached with the same mainline after some distance).

Getting information, the Chief Yard master BC Mandal, Gomoh RPF inspector Vijay Shankar and other officials reached the spot and began a rescue operation for clearing the track.

BC Mandal told media persons that it was a minor incident, and it did not hamper passenger trains traffic movement on the Grand Chord Line.
