Dhanbad, Jan 19: Gun firing, bombing and use of sharp weapons in a group clash over an old rivalry led to the injury of three people in Jharia Singh Nagar Gulgulia Basti Under Jharia police station.

Jharia police station officer in charge Pankaj Jha said that two injured persons were admitted at Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) where one of them is critical whereas the third injured person has been admitted at Asarfi Hospital.

Notably, the police recovered five live Sutli bombs, one empty cartridge and a sword from the spot.

The police official said that the clash took place in the morning. Both groups threw Sutli bombs, fired bullets and used sharp weapons on each other. Injured persons have received sword injuries.
