Dhanbad, Feb 28: Budding technocrats of BIT Sindri stole the show with an exhibition of their models on problems and solutions of the society on the second day of ‘Techfest’.
Notably, five technical clubs of the institution including Model Club, ISTE Society, IETE Technogram, SAE Society and HNCC Club displayed outstanding models of innovation in the competition on the second day and drew high appreciation from experts and faculty members.
The members of Model Club organised the second round of the ‘Robo Saga’ competition at the MC Ground of the institution and held a ‘Business to Technology’ seminar in the Deshpande Auditorium. Satyajit Patnaik was the chief guest on the occasion and he advised the budding technocrats to focus on StartUp.
The organisers said the ISTE Society organised a science exhibition ‘ Exhibiito’ in which students put up solutions to ‘ Smart City Challenges’ being faced by urban areas these days. Experts faculty members especially director Prof DK Singh highly appreciated the model and solution suggested by the ISTE Society members (students).
‘Role of Technology in the development of village’, the model showcased by IETE Technogram also impressed the gathering. The participants pointed out different problems in rural areas and suggested valuable measures for solving them.
‘Hechatron and Gamethon’ of Hackathon and Coding Club (HNCC) was the centre of attraction on the 2nd day of the technical festival. The members of HNCC focused on how real problems could be solved through the medium of technology.
SAE Society of the institution focused on the priority of a ‘Green Economy’ in society.
The organizers said the event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to showcase their talent and connect with another like-minded individuals.
