Dhanbad-Sitamarhi Spl train cancelled till March 21

Dhanbad, March 14: East Central Railway (ECR) has cancelled the Dhanbad-Sitamarhi special trains (03317/03318) that run three-day in a week from either side till March 21.

Dhanbad Divisional Rail Manager (DRM) in this regard issued a notification today and said that due to poor patronization competent authority has cancelled Holi special trains no. 03317 and 03318 till March 21.

The trains were introduced in wake of the massive rush of North Bihar people on the occasion of the Holi festival from Jharkhand.  For the facility of people, ECR continued the frequency of trains even after the Holi festival. But now it has been decided to cancel till March 21.

The official said the special train (03317) that would be cancelled from Dhanbad on March 16 (Saturday), March 18 (Monday) and March 20 (Thursday).

While from Sitamari train no. 03318 special train would be cancelled on March 17 (Friday), March 19 (Sunday) and March 21 (Tuesday).
