Dhanbad, Jan 5: The painting of Dhanbad girl student Krittika Kumari has been selected for the two-day international exhibition (January 12-13) of Creative Brilliance 2022 organised by Picasso Art of Japan. Her painting was selected in Picasso Art International online competition (Sparkling Imagination 2022) held on December 10 in which 1650 contestants from 45 countries participated. The result was declared on January 3.

Picasso Art has in this regard informed Krittika Kumari that her artwork (painting) has been selected for this international art exhibition (January 12-13) and she has been selected for the Premium Certificate of Achievement (Diamond Artist Award) of Creative Brilliance 2022.

Mane Abrahamyan of the State Academy of Fine Arts, Armenia and Mersa Anastasiadou, Master of Fine Art, the University of Edinburg, United Kingdom were jury members of the competition who selected paintings of Krittika.

Krittika is a class XI student of De Nobili Mugma in the Nirsa block of the district. She got initial learning of painting at St Xavier International School Ramkanali. Daughter of Abhimanue Karmakar, Krittika dreams to become a medical professional along with continuing a career in the field of creative art.

“Though I belong to a middle-class family selection of painting in international competitions and being nominated for Diamond Artist Award of course encouraged me to pursue my career in this field,” said Krittika.

Her international achievement keeps special significance as she lives in a remote area and has achieved this without any training from a professional artist.
